Responsibilities
- Prepare Order and billing activities to support Sales Team
- Place/handle Order and process once is verified and accepted.
Creates and issues internal Production Orders to Head office (Tokyo sales office) - Update Distributor regularly on planned ex-work delivery plan
- Inter-face and coordinates with relevant Tokyo on order fulfilment schedules and shipping matters
- Liaise with Distributor to ensure payment instrument (Letter of credit or Telegraphic remittance) is ready prior to shipment, ensure terms of LC are in order.
- Prepares Shipping Plan and issues shipment instruction to Head Office
- Liaise with customs and other government agencies to ensure compliance to
regulatory requirements. - Liaise and coordinates with transportation/ forwarding agencies for all shipments
- ensuring the accuracy timely import/ export deliveries to local and ASEAN customers.
- Prepare shipping documentations and ensure smooth importation
- Process with timely port clearance and delivery of shipment to customers.
- Prepare weekly and monthly shipping & tracking reports
- To maintain and communicate good working relationship with the customers.
- General admin duties of the office
- To attend telephone calls
Qualifications
- SPM/ A Level/ Diploma/ Degree in accounting/ business studies
Fresh graduate, no prior experience required (on the job training will be provided) but those who possess good knowledge of logistics flow, procedure and documentation will be an added advantage - Possess good customer service skills in handling customer’s issues
- Good command or written and oral English
- Preferably Mandarin speaker
- Good with MS Office
