- Lateral Benefits:

- Annual salary range of:
- $62,631.86 - $90,781.89
- This position guarantees two salary raises within your first year as long as your performance is in good standing!

- Annual salary range increases:
- Effective July 1, 2023, the salary schedule for positions in the bargaining unit shall be increased by four percent (4%).
- Effective July 1, 2024, the salary schedule for positions in the bargaining unit shall be increased by four percent (4%).
- Effective July 1, 2025, the salary schedule for positions in the bargaining unit shall be increased by four percent (4%).
- To be eligible for the retention bonuses, the employee must have been employed at the beginning of the fiscal year (July 1) in which the payment is made.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid State issued Driver's License with good driving record.
- 21 years of age at time of hire.
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent (Bachelor's Degree Preferred).
- US Citizen.
- Complete the ORPAT during hiring process and during Academy.
- Successfully pass a criminal records check, psych and medical before being hired.
- DPSST Basic Law Enforcement Certification - within 18 months of employment.
- LEDS Certification required within 6 months of hiring.
- First Aid and CPR Certifications within 60 days of hiring.
No experience necessary; we will train. Preference will go towards lateral applicants who are currently Law Enforcement Certified and in good standing with their current/most recent agency.
