We are looking for individual with good knowledge in end-to-end payroll process coupled good leadership skills to join our Payroll team. The successful candidate will be :

• Responsible for full spectrum of monthly payroll functions which includes preparation and processing of payroll in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.

• Generate Payroll Register Report and other payroll related reports for internal and external submission.

• Liaise with the respective government statutory bodies for matters related to EPF, Socso and Income Tax.

• Ensure accurate, timely payments and compliance with all statutory requirements.

• Ensure the preparation of annual tax reporting is accurate and timely.

• Process General Ledger postings of payroll related entries and ensure the postings are charged correctly.

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance for internal controls and audits.

• Attend to employee enquiries on payroll related issues.

• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned from time to time.

• Must have 8 - 10 years’ experience in payroll processing and knowledge in statutory requirement. Preferably with banking experience.
• Experience in review and analyse payroll trend, processes in order to suggest and implement changes leading to best practice.
• Able to analyse payroll issues and provide corrective action.
• Good knowledge in Collective Agreement within the Banking industry and experience in ESOS will be an added advantage.
• A team player with pleasant personality, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication skills, proactive and able to multi-task.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint.
• Possess strong drive and enthusiasm with the motivation and credibility for process improvement.
• Meticulous and good analytical skill.
• Good time management especially in meeting timelines.
