In the physical therapist role, you will conduct weekly physical therapy sessions for patients. You will take note of their concerns and evaluate their posture, movement, balance, flexibility, and muscle function. You will be expected to educate them about their conditions and the exercises they must do. Success in this role will be demonstrated by developing and implementing individual treatment plans to see improvements in the patient’s overall physical condition and achieve maximum recovery.

Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Performs physical assessments and examination
• Reviews doctor’s notes and patient medical history
• Communicates therapy diagnosis
• Monitors and records patient response during sessions
• Evaluates patient progress
• Modifies treatment plans as needed

Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Licensed physical therapist
• Relevant experience in physical therapy preferred
• CPR and first aid certification
• Deep knowledge of physical therapy principles and programs
• Effective communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
