Responsibilities:
The University of Kansas Health System is actively seeking a full time Occupational Medicine physician to join hospital-employed group. Board certified FM, IM, or EM, with or without occupational medicine experience, encouraged to apply. There are two Kansas City clinic locations, KU MedWest (Shawnee, KS) and Medical Pavilion (Kansas City, KS) with clinic hours Monday-Saturday. After hours care is provided through The University of Kansas Medical Center emergency department.

About the position:
- Full spectrum occupational medicine clinics provide: pre and post-employment evaluation, DOT physicals, worker’s compensation care, bloodborne pathogen exposure evaluations, exposure monitoring, immunizations, federal and non-federal drug testing, agility testing, spirometry, EKGs, respirator fit testing, exercise stress testing, audiology, and more.
- Positive atmosphere of collegiality and collaboration.
- Demonstrated need to grow Occupational Medicine service line. Clinic receives 80-100 patients per day.
- Onsite imaging, as well as rehabilitation with physical therapy and occupational therapy.
- Flexible hours and scheduling with a 4-day work week.

- Must be board certified in specialty and licensed, or eligible for licensure, in Kansas.
- Must be certified by FMCSA to perform DOT physicals. Must have or be willing to obtain MRO certification.
