Essential Functions Responsibilities include ensuring public safety in a multi-cultural environment in the third largest police department in Allegheny county. Police Officer duties include vehicular and foot patrol of University property, as well as enforcement of criminal and traffic laws; protection of persons and property; investigation of crimes; completion of police reports; testimony in court; and assistance to other law enforcement agencies.
Physical Effort Physical testing involving running, jumping, pushups, and sit-ups. Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
