Job description

1. Monitor and control all the process improvement activities in the plant and ensure compliance to the requirements practices in achieving plant target.

2. Explore any potential in process improvement in the plant for productivity and quality improvement.

3. Work together with the production and engineering team to minimize machine breakdown and unnecessary downtime.

4. Assist other Department where any troubleshooting skills required.

5. Lead, participate and contribute in plant productivity improvements and activities.

6. Work closely with supporting departments to achieve top efficiency, promote high morale and smooth production operation.

7. Provide effective management by ensuring discipline, attendance, punctuality and team work.

8. Support process team in identify, verifying, analyzing and implementing process improvement and process re-engineering opportunities

9. Provide technical and analytical support for process improvement initiatives

10. Develop process analysis and re-engineering to improve efficiency lower cost and improve product quality.

11. Facilitate the design and implementation of new/ improved process models and organizational structures.

12. Perform project management, analytics, and measure to ensure milestone are met and deliverables achieved.

13. Train and guide resources in process improvement techniques.

14. Manage and lead process team to achieve desired results.

15. Assist in development of new process capabilities.

16. Coordinate with various teams to analyze project results and performance.

17. To undertake any other ad hoc duties/task/projects assigned by the Immediate Superior, General Manager and above when required.

Mechanical

1. To monitor, implement & maintain mechanical system, facilities and assets, equipments in hospital environment.

2. To provide technical solutions, supports and reports in accordance to the contractual obligations and statutory requirements.

3. To monitor & provide necessary support in systems integration of services by assisting the administration, maintenance and implementation of operation services facilities and resources.

4. To develop, maintain and monitor the implementation of Quality management system by coordinating, training and guiding employees in adhering to the requirements as per procedures.

5. To ensure and enforce full compliance of safety and healthy practices & procedures of QSHA and other safety regulations.

Competency:

a) Skills and Attributes:

1. Demonstrable knowledge of implementing lean manufacturing/continuous improvement

2. Six sigma green belt qualification would be desirable

3. Able to work under tight timelines and withstand the pressure

4. Good organizational, planning and analytical skills.

5. Able to work independently and possess high level of confidentiality.

6. Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment

7. Good common of written and spoken language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (need to deal with china counterpart), English

b) Qualifications and Experience Level:

1. Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical / Process / Material Engineering or equivalent.

2. At least 5 years of working experience as Engineering Generalist.

3. Preferably Engineering specialized in Manufacturing of FMCG industry or equivalent.
