The Sign Center is a leading sign company specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of high-quality signage, with expertise in vehicle wraps and architectural monuments. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Signage Technician to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Wrap Installation: Perform professional installation of vinyl wraps on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and commercial fleets. Ensure precise alignment, proper adhesion, and smooth finish to achieve a flawless wrap.

Architectural Monument Fabrication and Installation: Contribute to the fabrication and installation of architectural monuments, including dimensional letters, logos, plaques, and other custom signage elements. Utilize various materials such as metal, acrylic, wood, and composites.

Pre-production Preparation: Assist with pre-production tasks, including preparing materials, measuring and cutting vinyl, laminating prints, and organizing tools and equipment for efficient workflow.

Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment required for vehicle wrap installation and monument fabrication, such as vinyl cutters, laminators, heat guns, and power tools. Ensure equipment is in good working condition and report any issues to the supervisor.

Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks during and after installations to ensure adherence to company standards and customer requirements. Address any imperfections or issues promptly and professionally.

Customer Communication: Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the installation process, material options, or design specifications. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Adhere to industry best practices for installation techniques, material handling, and equipment operation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the signage industry, specifically in vehicle wrap installation and architectural monument fabrication, is highly desirable.
• Proficient in applying vinyl wraps on vehicles, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.
• Skilled in monument fabrication techniques, including cutting, shaping, and assembly using various materials.
• Strong knowledge of different types of signage materials, adhesives, and substrates.
• Familiarity with sign design software and tools such as Adobe Illustrator and vinyl cutting software.
• Ability to accurately measure and calculate dimensions for precise installation and fabrication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and working at heights.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
