Job Description

Danfoss Editron in Longmont, CO is searching for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations. You’ll guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist staff in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
  • Completes production plan by assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; work with the logistics department to revise schedules; resolving problems; reporting results.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; assist in evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests.
  • Assist in revising systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, implementing change.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment.
  • Maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role.
  • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Problem-solving skills.

Compensation Data

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $75,000-$85,000/year. Base salary to be determined by the edaucation, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
