Hill International is seeking a Project Manager in Malibu, California

• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Develop scope of work, scope durations, Grant Chart schedules, project budgets, job walks
• Working with the prime contractors to obtain all-inclusive quotes
• Ability to describe full scope of work to lab occupants/stakeholders
• Ability to negotiate with Owner/Client scope of work changes while staying within budget and schedule
• Responsible for developing project budget, profile file, all project related document control/administration and grant chart development
• Coordinate Architect/Engineers, contractors and respective contracts
• Coordinate schedule and budget information and must be able to identify when the need to intervene arises
• Ability to review project documents (drawings, specifications, RFI’s, schedules, etc.) and evaluate the completeness for the respective phase of design and/or construction
• Responsible for managing the quality of the project(s) and manage facility to ensure successful completion as it relates to “on time” and within budget
• Must familiarize and develop a strategy to coordinate the requirements/needs of all interested parties
• Must be able to analyze requested changes and to manage the change process
• Responsible for plan and project coordination efforts separate line other duties as determined by the program and departmental requirements
• Coordinating communications between contractor, client, site personnel, and consulting engineers
• Initiating on site project meetings as needed
• Conduct meetings at the job site to improve project communications and reduce interferences

• Must have a minimum of 10-15 years’ of Project Management experience
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or program management role
• Understanding of general construction
• Hands on construction management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and CADD
• Demonstrated experience managing project cost/budget, scope, schedule, and resources, managing vendors, and overseeing formal planning, tracking, and reporting project performance
• Must be willing to work full-time on-site (Monday-Friday)

The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $170,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
