We are looking for a Proposal Architect Manager to join our team.
Mission:
- Develop, adapt, promote, support, and deliver integrated, intelligent solutions for Schneider Electric customers in key market segments leveraging the full Schneider Electric's portfolio.
- Lead technically, including functional leadership, the definition of the winning architecture vs. customer needs; optimizing project costs and mastering technical risks.
- Accountable for the technical feasibility of proposed architectures.
- Provide full technical support to the proposal team post S1 gate leveraging a wide multi technology and architecture knowledge and/or network of technical expect in specific domains.
- Provide delivery methodology and project execution planning during proposal phase, subsequently handing over to execution at the P0 gate.
- As a subject matter expert in complex solutions architecture design, deploy and promote best practices and lessons learned across Global Customer Project organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Can perform prescription activities at early stage of business development & opportunity identification. Can take part of external technical events.
- Perform gap analysis and lean scoping between customer needs and reference architectures and adapt the proposed architecture and project scope to satisfy key decision criteria for the customer (functions, performance & budget). Support sales team from technical perspective in the sales strategy definition to reduce risks during execution.
- Foster the re-use of proven architectures and technical solutions. Build, promote and adapt reference architectures to meet specific customer needs.
- Contribute strongly to technical Community of Practice within applicable Execution Centre and globally within Company’s network. Proactively develop and maintain a strong technical network among other Solutions Architects and business experts.
- Identify, formalise, share, and promote lessons learned and best practices. Act as role model and/or coach of juniors.
Required experiences/qualifications:
- 10+ years in the delivery of Industrial Automation and /or Telemetry and/or Information Management System projects and/or services
- Expert understanding of one or more Process automation platforms and a general understanding of the whole Industry product offer.
- Demonstrated experience in designing complex system architectures for automation systems with business interfaces and advanced applications
- Strong knowledge of networking, virtualisation, and communication protocols
- Demonstrated experience providing cost estimation for automation projects
- Exceptional attention to detail & capability to deliver detailed and professional technical documents and reports
- Ability to understand and apply industry/market knowledge (macro drivers, significant trends, strategic direction) in client communication and dialog
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, able to present confidently to internal and external audiences
