Job Title: Quality Engineer

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and evaluate product integrity and standards. Typically has a Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline. The technical skills include the ability to make constructively evaluate PPAP submissions, evaluate dimensional reports, statistal analysis and understand PFMEA's, Control Plans and MSA's. Education/Experienceo Bachelor degree in engineering required. At least 3 years experience required. Responsibility level - Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor. Skills: Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required). Team player and detail oriented (Required). Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports. Basic experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Typically required)Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Review and evaluate PPAP's, statistical knowledge for process capability and Measurement Systems Analysis. Develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data. Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities. May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities. May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $43.50 per hour
