Job description

• Responsible for understanding, quantifying, budgeting and managing the costs of the construction and building projects.
• Breakdown the construction materials and source for the price (cost, delivery, handling, storage etc).
• Keeping an updated database / library of building materials (catalogues and pricing).
• Analysing the various construction options available which will influence the project cost.
• Screen through the tender notice and requirements, filling of bills of quantities, gathering of supporting documents and

reference for tendering purposes.

• Identify risks surrounding the project and the likelihood of cost variation.
• Tracking of project cost breakdown and to analyse project progress vs expenditure.
• Prepare quotation comparison from suppliers, subcontractors and advice on any outstanding contractual claims to clients or

claim from sub-contractors.

• To be appointed as ISO steering committee member assisting in Company’s QMS in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standard.
