Job description
Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:
Comparing purchase orders with supplier's invoices
Inspecting goods received to ensure they match order and food safety criteria.
Receiving and signing for deliveries.
Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
Updating inventory & pricing with received items.
Updating (GRN) Goods Receive Note in autocount system.
Perform stock checking & inventory updates.
Ensure barcode & bay number updated in system when stock received.
Print barcode for item without barcode.
Business modal: Wholesaler & retailer
Activities: Distributor for raw material in baking ingredients, chilled and frozen food industries and HORECA
