Job description

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our wonderful team at Reedsburg Family Dental. The ideal candidate is an individual who is passionate about maintaining the health and hygiene of patients, and also able to interact well with patients and team members. The ideal candidate would be a compassionate and detail-oriented individual. Additionally, good communication skills and having a solid foundation of periodontal management are a must!

Responsibilities:

• Interact with patients and develop rapport.
• Perform routine dental procedures.
• Educate patients on oral health care.
• Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planning and debridement
• Apply fluoride and sealants.
• Maintain patient electronic dental records.
• Take diagnostically acceptable digital radiographs (Dexis software).
• Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, charting (Dentrix software), referral, implants, periodontal program, caries risk assessment and emergency treatment.
• Stock required supplies and maintain equipment

Requirements:

• An active state hygiene license (or eligible to become licensed)
• A current CPR certification

Schedule (full-time):

• 32-36 hrs/week
• Monday - Friday with a rotating day off
