Job description
Under direct supervision of the 4MN Med Surg/Telemetry nurse manager,assist patient with admission procedure, during transfer procedure, withdischarge procedure; provide for patients' personal hygiene; assist withpatients' excretory needs, meals and in providing for patient safety andcomfort measures. Provide clerical support to the Administrative Nurse of thedesignated unit. Salary range: $27.99-$27.99 Hourly
CNA Certification required. BLS from theAmerican Red Cross or American Heart Association required. Ability to pass an8 hour computer data entry training course. Ability to performall physical requirements pertaining to delegated nursing, PT/OT, and RTassisted tasks. Understanding ofbasic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred. Recent ward clerkand/or appropriate clerical experience in an acute hospital environment. Skill in evaluatingand reporting various kinds of emergent information pertinent to thefunctioning of an inpatient care unit. Skill inprioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner when there arecompeting requirements and a heavy workload.
