Objectives of the Position

As part of the Digital Services team, you will be responsible in handling IT chat support for users in different countries.


Main Tasks

Handle the IT remote chat support for countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Philippines.

Topics covered will be such as:

  • Troubleshooting of core applications (Office 365 applications, WebEx, Windows Hello for Business, etc.)
  • Consulting/How-To support for Smart office technology (e.g. Barco, Room Wizard, Interactive TV and etc)
  • Additionally, you will:
  • Work closely with the Digital Services team to improve the capability and add new features to the Digital Services chatbot.
  • Support on the deployment of PC to New Joiners, PC return drop-off for leavers, PC Break-Fix swap
  • Support on IT accessory break-fix swap, such as Headset, Keyboard and mouse, Docking station
  • Support smartphone distribution, setup and returns
  • Support network printers (i.e. consultation, troubleshooting)
  • Support review and improvement of existing technical process documentation and creation of new ones if none exists
  • Be able to contribute individually or within a team of Citizen Developers in the creation and rapid deployment of applications using low code/no code platforms to provide data-driven solutions.


Requirements

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or an equivalent

Working Experience

  • 2 years or more of supporting users in the field of IT providing troubleshooting via chat and over the phone

Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)

  • Has extensive knowledge of IT issues and can troubleshoot based on acquired experiences from present and past IT – related works
  • Familiarity, but not required, of the latest Low Code / No Code technologies and platforms
  • Strong Digital mindset to accelerate BASF Digitalization transformation journey
  • Passion for problem solving and coming up with creative solutions
  • Able to communicate in a concise and structured manner (fluent in English, written and spoken)
  • Familiarity with Digital technologies - e.g.: RPA / automation, Power Platform, chatbot
