Scope of Position:
The jobholder will be join FHS Repair Ordering Officer team. This team will be accountable within the FHS organization of various administrative activities: unserviceable components repair ordering, aircraft configuration, Loan Order closure and utilization updates in FHS MIS, support to operation teams, etc.
In addition to being an active contributor to the creation and organization of the FHS Repair Ordering Officer team, the job holder will have the following responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the on-time creation of the Repair Orders for the unserviceable components returned in FHS pools in scope (KUL, LHR, MIA, HKG, SIN) and customer base.
- Manage the Good Receipt Blockage for the pools in scope (KUL, LHR, MIA, HKG, SIN)
- Manage the aircraft configuration in FHS MIS, based on the information provided by the customers
- Update the aircraft utilization figures (flight hours and cycles) and be accountable for the data accuracy
- Managing the administrative closure of delivery tasks (drop shipment repair order, loan order)
- Support the COD by issuing structured reports of all configuration information expected from customers
- Be accountable for the MIS data accuracy and manage the resolution of the MIS abnormal situations
- Proactively identify, propose and lead improvement plans.
- Upkeep and live by Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct.
- Represent Airbus as flying Drop Shipment Officer and manage customer core unit including Aircraft Configuration Data, data alignment to ensure correct data being retrieved from customers and translate into Airbus MIS, receiving unserviceable part in Airbus MIS, creating repair order and logistics function.
- Identify Root Cause causing Good Receipt Blockage and Unserviceable Blockage for Repair Order creation and manage mitigation plan to avoid issue from repeating in future
- Ability to provide monthly analysis on the data quality and late submission data for Aircraft configuration data by stakeholder and provide working mitigation plan.
- Responsible to ensure quality of work by Sub-Contractor is according to SLA including communication, revision of way of working. Analyze the quality of work and follow-up on effectiveness on mitigation plan. Keep a record of lesson learn for future training material.
- Contribute to update on skill matrices and working checklist.
- Analyze best way of working based on root cause identified, propose solution to update and maintain KUL RO documentation on new way of working.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert to be able to conduct training for newcomer, subcontractor and ROO community globally, build clear training plan, checklist and set acceptable timeline.
Background & Skills
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Diploma preferably in Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Aviation Management, Aerospace and with more than 2 years’ experience in Logistics, MRO services, supply chain aerospace.
- Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Aviation Management, Aerospace.
- Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Aviation Management, Aerospace with more than 2 years’ experience
- Min 2 years working experience
- Familiarity with Engineering, Maintenance, Logistic, Transport and Supply Chain domain at an airline or an MRO
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Skills or Google Application
Other Skills:
- Basic awareness of aircraft component maintenance
- Good time management, team spirit with excellent team work.
- Good English communication and writing skills. 3rd & 4th language will be additional advantage.
- Comfortable on MS Office suite or Google Application (especially Microsoft Excel & Google Sheet)
- Rigor, agile, manner and discipline in the quality of work delivered and meeting deadlines.
