Role: Research Analyst

Trinity Hunt Partners (THP) is looking to hire a PhD level researcher with a background in finance, economics, or another business field who is interested in a career in Private Equity while applying his/her research experience to help execute thematic investing initiatives through industry research and diligence efforts. No prior Private Equity or investment experience is required. The role is primarily remote.

Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• The Research Analyst will work directly with the Director of Research to initiate and diligence compelling industries to support THP’s industry thematic sourcing strategy.
• Help lead thematic initiatives focused on identifying and researching attractive sectors for potential investment.
• Prepare industry investment reports on sectors of interest. Reports will include key investment merits, risks, market data, trends, etc.
• If industry theme is selected, help manage industry theme through THP’s process – phone calls with industry advisors, meeting with executives, working with buy side advisors and THP’s network of investment banks, etc.
• Help manage THP’s network of third-party research groups and research/identify other groups that might be helpful to our industry theme process.
• Keep up to date on Private Equity market trends and deal flow.

Mandatory Skills:

● Must have a PhD in Finance, Economics, or another business-related field.

● Excellent communication and written skills.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

● Outgoing personality with strong research and analytical skills.

Pay: $37,930.87 - $107,026.96 per year
