Role Summary
  • Support the development and implementation of all Audi of America (AoA) national and regional retail sales programs in the U.S. market, including forecasting, budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, and post program analysis (Car & SUV)
  • Support the achievement of all annual Audi national and regional sales and P&L objectives
  • Primary liaison between AoA Operations and OMD & Incentives Competency teams to establish technical requirements to ensure payment to our dealer partners
  • Assist Market Intelligence & Incentive Spec to support AoA Field organization, developing market competitive retail offers at the region/area/market levels (Car & SUV).

Role Responsibilities

  • 30% As a member of the Vehicle Sales team, support achievement of all national and regional objectives, including: New vehicle sales (Car & SUV), Market share (Car & SUV), Vehicle turn rates (Car & SUV), Contribution margin performance (Car & SUV), Dealer profitability (Car & SUV), Sales Satisfaction Index (Car & SUV), Customer loyalty (Car & SUV)
  • 30% Assist with budgeting, development, coordination, and communication of national and regional retail sales support programs in the U.S. market (Car & SUV)
  • 20% Assist Sr Mgr, Retail Merchandising with vendor relationships. Support budget and management of dealer engagement activities
  • 20% Liaison between AoA Merchandising Dept. and VWGoA Purchasing. Responsible for purchase requests and contract management.


Qualifications - External
Experience
  • 3-5 years of automotive field experience.
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business-related field
  • Master’s Degree, preferably in business-related field (desired).
General Skills
  • Financial aptitude – familiarity with standard accounting principals

  • Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation and written
  • Integration & Collaboration – joining people, process or systems.
Specialized Skills
  • Proficient in technical data management (Excel, Access, Power Point, Business Objects, etc.)
  • Process innovation – targeting business opportunity and addressing with process improvement
  • Creative thinking – developing new solutions to drive Audi sales and margins (nationally & regional)
  • Implementation – coordinating efforts within AoA (Operations, Marketing, Digital, Key Vendors), AFS, and Audi Field to go to market with retail and corporate sales strategies and supporting programs
  • Understanding of automotive industry sales and finance instruments (brand, captive finance arm, dealership) (desired)
  • Experience with using Tableau (desired)
  • Experience with using SQL (desired)
  • Experience with using KSRM – Purchasing & Procurement Tool (desired)
  • Analytical expertise, including cost-benefit analysis (desired).
Work Flexibility
  • Hybrid position in Herndon office
  • Travel to national, regional, dealer meetings as appropriate to meet business needs.
