Job description

• Responsible as a SHO as per Occupational Safety Health Act 1994
• To ensure that the company is in compliance with local regulations such as Dept. of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), Dept. of Environment (DOE), Ministry of Health Department and Fire Services Department.
• Required to prevent occupational injury illness and minimize environmental impacts, ensure compliance with applicable regulations. To submit accident report to relevant government authority and carry out corrective action in the company to prevent similar accident recurring.
• Responsible for developing Safety & Health Environment (SHE) Policy & Procedures and initiate action to ensure compliance with all safety and environmental legal requirements. ---Advice employer and employee on Occupational Safety And Health (OSH) Act 1994 matters

Implement and enforcement of all safety measure introduced by the Company among employees including sub-contractors
Daily safety plant tour
Safety Induction to new employee & contract workers
Arrange PMA,PMT & PMD inspection by DOSH
Workplace HSE Inspection audit
Job Safety Analysis review & approval
To conduct Emergency drill & readiness of ERT Team
Compile, review and submit to HSE HOD Monthly HSE Dept Safety Report
To plan, organize and implement Safety Committee Meeting and prepare MOM after meeting and follow-up action agreed and update HSE Manager & HSE Committee Chairman accordingly.
To Plan, Manage, and control periodically fire fighting system inspection by fire contractor & follow-up corrective actions required
