Central Prairie Co-op is hiring wheat/ fall harvest seasonal employees. Pay is competitive and overtime is available, some weekends possible. You can spend time outside during the summer and learn how agribusiness/ grain flows through the food system. General knowledge of grain handling is a plus but not required. This position assists all areas of the unloading, loading and transferring of grain and grain products. There is an exposure to grain dust, weather elements, heavy trucks, machinery and heights. You will need to be able to provide a high level of customer service by displaying courteous, helpful, knowledgeable interaction and behaviors. Housekeeping as related, but not limited to, the cleanliness and orderliness of the grain handling area, as well as any areas within the location as delegated by position supervisor. Must be a minimum of 18 years old.

We are hiring at Lyons,KS, Bushton, KS, Lorraine, KS, Geneseo,KS, Frederick, KS, and Little River, KS.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• grain handling: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
