• Perform more complex daily collection activities to ensure cash are allocated accurately and timely and reconcile the AR to a current status to avoid disputes by debtors/ external party. • Focus on managing a portfolio of receivable accounts, and ensuring aged balances remain within the set business targets • Follow up on unallocated incoming payment and collect payments on outstanding balance. • Resolve disputes with internal functional teams independently and escalate to team lead where necessary • Prepare bad debts provision and ensure accuracy in preparing collection reports and other relevant reports. • Ensure compliance to agreed service levels, company policies and procedures • Support and propose continuous improvement initiatives for increased process efficiency • Develop and maintain working relationships with customers to ensure that solutions are adopted, implemented and maintained appropriately. • Participate in internal / external audit. Provide required information. • Cooperation with cross function teams within SSC for monthly closing activities
SHARED SERVICES CENTERS We are building a Shared Services Center (SSC) to make work in the Finance function easier, improve transactional flow, processes as well as automation. The global SSC project has concluded its design phase in September 2021. Thorough analysis has been conducted, Finance processes for “Record to Report� (R2R), “Procure to Pay� (P2P), and “Order to Cash� (O2C) will evolve into new ways of working, between the local Finance organizations and the SSC in APAC. Implementation of APAC SSC has started in Q4 2021, with the planned approach.
