How You'll Make a Difference:

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for using data analytics and modeling techniques to solve complex business problems and drive improvements in healthcare outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare analytics, with experience creating production models and application.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform ad-hoc exploratory analysis of large and complex healthcare datasets to uncover actionable insights
• Solve well-defined business problems through advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling
• Regularly measure and improve analytics initiatives, ensuring that the organization is achieving desired outcomes
• Create and maintain production models and related applications that enable stakeholders to leverage insights and drive improvements in healthcare outcomes
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to use data to drive business decisions and improve healthcare outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with emerging analytics techniques and technologies, continuously seeking to improve the organization's capabilities in data analytics

Qualifications/Skills:

• Master's or PhD degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, with a focus on data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling
• Strong understanding of healthcare data, including claims data, clinical data, and population health data
• Experience with production-level modeling and applications
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems using data analytics and modeling techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R, as well as with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
