We are looking for Senior HR Manager to be based at Dindings Poultry Processing Sdn Bhd (DPP) and responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resources (HR) activities such as talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, employee engagement and retention, industrial relations of the Poultry Farm Business.
The position will be working closely with the Plant Manager and Group HR to establish HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), projects and initiatives to ensure HR effectiveness and efficiency that strengthen employees’ capability and capacity.
Please find the job description as follows:-
- Talent Acquisition
- Identify and develop manpower requirements for the division.
- Liaise and work with recruitment agencies, schools and universities in sourcing for talents.
- Conduct screenings and interviews shortlisted candidates, coordinate psychometric tools, conduct reference checks, prepare Letter of Offer (for non-executive level)
- Work closely with Group HR in organizing career talk and career fair to promote employer branding.
- Facilitate pre-onboard, onboarding and blending in programmes for new employees to ensure an enriching orientation experience.
- Conduct exit interviews with employees who have resigned, to gauge the attrition reasons and recommend the necessary actions for improvement.
- In-charge of foreign workers matters, including manpower planning, submission of documents for foreign workers application, renewal & cancellation of work permit, arrange workers for FOMEMA check-up and handle any disciplinary and grievances.
- Total Rewards & Performance Management
- Work closely with Group HR to design and recommend the total rewards framework.
- Develop and manage manpower budget and utilization.
- Manage monthly payroll and claims.
- Design and recommend incentive schemes to motivate employees.
- Ensure submission of required deductions to relevant government agencies, if any.
- Drive performance culture and ensure effective implementation of the performance management system.
- Advise staff in KPIs setting, understanding of core and leadership competencies.
- Learning, Development & Succession Planning
- Conduct training needs analysis and recommends improvement programmes for employees to close competency gaps.
- Prepare and monitor yearly training budget and programmes for employees.
- Implement the coaching programme, mentor-mentee programme and buddy system.
- Develop and implement Employee Development Programmes and keep track of the employees’ learning progress.
- Provide feedback, coaching and mentoring to staff on performance.
- Involve in restructuring of organization to meet the Division’s expansion and growth.
- Work with Group HR in identifying talents for succession planning of critical positions and talent management initiatives including building competencies in promoting career development opportunities and growth.
- Employee Engagement & Retention
- Organize or facilitate employee engagement activities such as town hall, family day, annual dinner, sports day, breakfast engagement, quarterly engagement sessions and etc.
- Continuously strive for a harmonious working environment amongst the employees by recommending the necessary initiatives.
- Industrial Relations
- Advise and conduct domestic inquiries with Group HR on issues relating to dismissal, disciplinary and misconducts.
- Design and implement the necessary grievances policy.
- Degree in business, human resources or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of working experiences in the related field.
- Solid experienced in HR Strategic and Operational role.
- Strong stakeholder management will be an advantage.
- Excellent people management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
