Our US Food division is based in Sacramento, CA. and we are always looking for passionate individuals to join our organization. For this position we are specifically looking for an experienced Shipping & Warehouse Associate in West Sacramento, CA.

As a Shipping & Warehouse Associate you'll be part of a global Operations team and will report to the Warehouse Lead and Logistics Coordinator.


Job Description


You Will:

  • Manage and continuously improve the entire receiving and customer return process.
  • Prepare shipping documents, create labels for packages & inventory items, and compute freight rates, weight, and cost of all shipments.
  • Receive, unpack, and check stock materials, and conduct root cause analysis for any discrepancies that arise.
  • Maintain the organization, accuracy and efficiency of all orders and shipments.
  • Arrange and manage delivery of machines and large shipments to customers.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work area and warehouse.
  • Provide back-up and complete other duties as assigned by Warehouse Lead.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • 1 – 4 years of experience in shipping and receiving within a factory/warehouse setting; Forklift experience a plus!
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using basic hand tools (i.e. skill saw, power drill, etc.)
  • Proficient computer skills and basic mathematics.
  • You have a conscientious and cooperative team player attitude.
  • You are self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks independently.


Physical Abilities & Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, hoist, crawl, and lift up to 50 - 90 pounds.
  • Must be able to use hand tools.
  • Must be able to work on-site in West Sacramento, CA Monday – Friday from 8am – 4:30am.
  • Must be able to work in a factory/warehouse setting and adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
