Role Details:
We are thrilled to announce that we are currently seeking a highly motivated React Native Enginee to join our mobile engineering team. This presents a unique and exciting opportunity for an individual with a natural inclination for problem-solving to work directly on enhancing the video streaming experience of our expanding mobile customer base.
As a React Native Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building a user-friendly application for Paramount+ that runs on OTT devices. You will work with the development team to ensure that the applications are of the highest quality and meet the needs of the users. Additionally, you will troubleshoot technical issues and work to continuously improve the project.
Your Day-to-Day:
Design and develop mobile applications using React Native for Paramount+
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features
Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the application
Work on continuous improvement projects to optimize the user experience
Qualifications: What you bring to the team:
You have –
BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
At least 2-3 years of experience developing mobile applications using React Native
Strong understanding of React Native, JavaScript, and ReactJS
Familiarity with Redux, GraphQL, and REST APIs
Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You might also have –
Background supporting the integration of rich media assets, including video, into mobile properties
Experience integrating ad serving products and analytics/reporting tools
Experience working with entertainment, games, news, or sports-related properties preferred
Understanding of streaming video and DRM concepts
Knowledge of Localization practices

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 140,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
