Ledger Medial Accounting Services is seeking an entry level Staff Accountant to join our team.

We are an established accounting firm that is primarily remote in Greenville, South Carolina. Our client base has grown substantially since our inception in 2020. We are looking for a hardworking candidate that is eager to learn or advance real-world accounting skills in a hands-on and structured manner. The Staff Accountant should have an accounting education as a starting point. This position is mostly remote with the exception of occasional in-person training. Flexible core hours that benefit the candidate and the company will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• All accounting functions including bank reconciliations, adjusting and closing journal entries, and presenting of accurate and timely financial statements.
• Tax preparation for individuals and businesses.
• Facilitate the completion of projects from start to finish.
• Budgeting & forecasting.
• Data analysis.
• Maintain healthy client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong work ethic and appetite for learning.
• Administration and data entry experience desired.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer first mentality.

Must be in the general upstate South Carolina area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
