The Sterilizer Technician I will be responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the sterilization department. This position is a great opportunity to learn the different aspects of the environmental side of the process as well as the technical aspect.

A Day in the Life

This is a 2nd shift position that includes a shift differential rate. Monday - Friday, 3 pm to 11 pm with some weekend overtime.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Must have the ability to assist in loading, setting-up, performing basic or routine preventative maintenance on the sterilization equipment.
• Assist in monitoring cycle parameters and related environmental readings during the sterilization process to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform quality verification work on products that are processed through sterilization.
• Promote a safe work environment while assisting with department safety programs.
• Willing to work overtime on weekends.
• Wearing (SCBA) respiratory protection is a requirement for this position.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• 0 years of experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required

Nice to Have

• Experience with sterilization of equipment
• Knowledge of Powered Industrial Trucks
• Technical/Mechanical Knowledge
• Computer Knowledge (Word/Outlook)
