Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Teach a variety of early learning education classes (e.g., reading writing, arithmetic, social sciences, STEAM, arts, etc).
• Be able to use specific teaching curricula to teach children.
• Be responsible for a particular age group (infants, K1, K2, K3, K4, etc.).
• Be a role model for children.
• Organize and motivate children in a manner that will encourage them to learn and improve their knowledge.
• Plan classes to ensure that children are learning the correct content, skills, rules, and safety across various learning subjects and activities.
• Follow the center's expectations for learning in proper early growth and development in order to give appropriate instructions, techniques, strategies, and expectations for learning.
• Be able to cooperative work with others and demonstrate teamwork skills.
• Communicate with children, parents, team mates and administrators to resolve any issues that may arise.
• Be able to document and communicate in written form.
• Be able to lift and change children at approximately 50-60 pounds.
• Be able to and potty train children.
• Be willing to receive and maintain CDA credentials.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per year
