We are recruiting a talented analyst to join our Channel Manager & Distribution organisation and build our next generation cloud native Channel Manager product.

Channel Manager connects tens of thousands of hotels with all the distribution channels. Its goal is to facilitate the distribution of Availability, Rate and Inventory(ARI) and Reservation delivery from 100's of OTAs, Wholesalers, Tour Operators, Channel Managers and Meta Partners. Amongst them we of course connect to world known partners like Expedia, Booking.com, Trip.com, Agoda, …

This component is mission critical with stringent availability and must allow for massive scalability to sustain our future growth ambition.

The key design characteristics of Channel Manager are :

  • Speed, scale and stability to support 20 million ARI events per day.
  • Facilitation includes the necessary orchestration, data model translation and translation of messages between Hotels and the Partner.
  • UI to facilitate the definition of distribution rules.

Business analyst defines the product design with Product management team, translates customer requirement into architectural choice, manage projects and customer expectations.

We are looking for a motivated analyst, autonomous, proactive, willing to face challenges and/or eager to learn how to face them, and also participate to the teamwork, accompanying infrastructure and functional evolutions within Hotel IT.

In this role you’ll:

  • Analyze requirements submitted by Product Management
  • Propose design optimizations considering architecture constraints.
  • Deliver functional specifications and interfaces documentation of the product for their own area.
  • Identify interactions and assess impacts with other Amadeus packages/products /solutions to ensure functional compatibility of their own area.
  • Coordinate those interactions from building phase to delivery to ensure the compliance of the delivered functionality.
  • Coordinate PROD activations from preparation to post-activation monitoring, including consideration of external and internal systems constraints.
  • Obtain specification validation through carrying out the functional review with other Analysts, developers, and Product Manager when needed
  • Contribute with Development teams to technical design for their own area.
  • Investigate defects in Production/Test systems (maintenance) in order to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality, system integrity and customer satisfaction
  • Provide on request functional knowledge on their own area for other divisions, Sales, Account Management, Development, Implementation & Support requests (for elaboration of business cases, RFP responses and training support …)
  • Provide inputs to Product Management for product functionalities enhancement, business cases and RFP responses, based on their knowledge & product experience. May participate on demand to customer workshops and task forces
  • Contribute to innovation and product evolution within area by sharing with peers & product managers information such as industry trends & standards, competition etc…
  • Show empathy, will to collaborate with colleagues and be open to changes in order to ensure Amadeus success

About the ideal candidate:

  • Master's degree in engineering
  • Experience in Hospitality or Distribution business
  • Ability to handle technical design and discussions
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
    • Ability to analyze objectives, considers options and plans.
