About The Role

The Jr. Technician is a vital role in our attractions as they ensure all the fun and magic is being delivered at an efficient level. Every day, our Maintenance Technician assists with the planned and reactive maintenance throughout the attraction to ensure the day-to-day operation is running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the attraction including the audio visual, lighting, equipment, and machinery. Compensation for this opportunity is $17.50 per hour.

About Your Job:

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot all areas of the attraction's equipment and machinery including HVAC, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and plumbing systems as well as themed attractions.
• Apply hands-on knowledge and experience to tackle problems to sustain minimal downtime of themed attractions for the maximum guest experience.
• Position functions will include: custodial duties, re-lamping & lighting systems, painting and wall repair, tech equipment, shipping and receiving as well as exhibit setup and takedown.

About You

• 2+ years of technical college and/or related experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities that are essential for this role. Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience in maintaining flexibility and the highest level of service in a fast paced work environment and/or stressful situations.
• Willing and open to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to stand and walk for prolonged periods; use hands and fingers to grip, pinch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; balance; reach, pull, push with hands and arms below head and frequently above head; ability to smell.
• Technicians are occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, hazardous chemicals, fluorescent lamps or batteries; hazardous waste; be exposed to a loud work environment.
