Job description

Job Responsibilities:
Perform installation, implementation, maintenance of new and existing hardware, software and operating systems including updates, configuration changes and patches
Ensure high level of systems availability by performing regular health-checks and configurations fine-tuning
Troubleshoot and resolve systems related issues
Perform Unix scripting / VisualBasic programming
Document systems procedures and guidelines
Research and recommend new technologies to improve workflow efficiency.

Job Requirements:
A recognised Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Unix/Linux/Solaris/AIX/CentOS operating system administration
Strong working experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle Weblogic and Oracle Database Server
Good knowledge in fine tuning, high availability systems and systems security
Strong ability to utilize Unix shell programming methods
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and a team player.
