Summary

EMH&T is currently looking for an Engineer Intern for our Urban Design Division who will work under the direction of a project manager or senior project manager. Work includes utilizing Civil 3D to assist in preparing conceptual plans, exhibits, and plan sets. Additional tasks may include drainage analysis, preparing surfaces, line work and contour drawings from survey data points; developing plan and profile drawings and details, grading, utility plans, storm sewers, roadways, required easements, access drives, parking and more, in accordance with local zoning standards and internal EMH&T drafting standards. Typical projects include commercial sites, rail facilities, industrial sites and automotive dealerships.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; and must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Passed the FE and experience or proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or other design/drafting software; previous co-op or internship, is a plus.
