Manager, Warehouse and Logistics
Key Responsibility

  • Monitor all available systems (WMS.CMS,TMS,SSR, Red watch,Rokki Our Shop, Santan Express) for decision making and relaying relevant information to hub inflight staff.

  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping

  • Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service

  • Organizing warehouse, categorizing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments

  • Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

  • Keeping track of the cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets

  • Working in conformity with laws, regulations, and policies

  • Resolving delivery inconsistencies or delay

  • Developing an environment that fosters open and positive team communication by setting expectations, and communicating the company's goals or objectives

  • Taking care of inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters

  • Working in relation to production departments, quality assurance, and supply chain analysts in the organization

  • Examining, identifying, planning and managing special logistics and warehousing processes or operations which involves ensuring that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are accurately maintained.

  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals

  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed

  • Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention

  • maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely

  • Monitoring of all air and sea freight shipment clearances for duty free, merchandise product and Inflight equipment.

  • Managing 3rd party logistic partners.

  • Monitoring and ensuring custom declarations such as K1, K8 and K9 declarations are performed accurately and timely.

  • Applying and monitoring approvals from the Ministry of Health for beauty products in a timely manner before the start of each new programme.

  • Ensuring K8 and K9 declarations are performed accurately and timely.

  • Ensures excellent record keeping of all required documents, in accordance with Customs rules & regulations and for audit purposes.

  • Monitor the renewal of licences and regulatory approvals to ensure operations are not disrupted.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.

  • Possess personal traits: friendly, mature, humble, honest, meticulous self-starter able to perform under pressure in a challenging environment

  • Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Melayu

  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point & Access) and google drive (Drive, sheet, Doc, Slide)

  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality, tactful and discretion when dealing with people

  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers

  • Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments

  • At least 5- 8 years working experience in a related field will be a plus point

  • High comfort level working in a diverse environment

  • Able to travel as when it is required
