JOB SUMMARY
The Molding Operator is responsible for extracting and pouring heated mix by weight to create cast epoxy-resin product
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bucket Support
- Extract heated mix from mix tank into a pour barrel by weight and add additional components as required
- Draw pigment and master batch from R&D area
Cat Station
- Cat Station operations & Master batch dosing
- Log all required information in the Casting Database
- Perform quality inspection of mix and mold condition
- Communicates mix and mold conditions out of standard operating procedure to Task Leader / Supervisor
Pouring
- Pour heated mix into slab and sink aluminum molds using overhead hoist
- Extract cast sink parts from aluminum molds (sink department only)
- Assure molds are free of contaminants
- Operate Gel Oven for heated mixture insertion
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs
JOB SUMMARY
The Machine Operator is responsible for fabricating piece requirements on automated equipment and inspecting parts for dimensional and visual defects. Various machinery operations includes saws, routers, edge finisher, holzana saw, double face, DMS router and Phenolic router.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret job ticket requirements of assigned machinery
- Physically move material to routers, edge finishers or finishing lines
- Maintain expected output on pieces per hour
- Load ticket programs as needed on CNC machinery
- Perform minor diagnostics & maintenance on assigned machinery
- Verify piece dimensions against ticket requirements utilizing a calibrated tape measure
- Measure saw drop for recovery of material for future use
- Maintain a clean work area and clean machine
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to demonstrate comprehension of positional work instructions
- Ability to use a calibrated tape measure and identify standard and metric units based on ticket requirements
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Capable of becoming forklift certified
- Able to work overtime including weekends
- Ability to perform basic equipment troubleshooting
- Lift minimum of 50 lbs.
- Measure by weight (g/lb) using scales and basic math
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 3 month’s work experience
Minimum 3 month’s manufacturing experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to perform assisted push/pull up to 500lbs over a roller table or a conveyor line
Ability to stand, stoop, bend reach overhead repetitively during an 8 hour day
Able to stand for minimum of 8 hours
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
