Job Summary

Our Warehouse Operations Manager will manage our warehouse layout, organization, personnel, cleanliness, locations, and functions to meet financial and business objectives. This is a Monday thru Saturday position. You will be leading put-away, replenishments, receiving, QA, discrepancy management, shipping, dock and logistics management, layout and organization, and more. You will be controlling logistics, labor efficiencies, accurate and speedy receivings/shipments, inventory control, replenishments, quality assurance, design processes and KPIs, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound/outbound activities for the FC, including: receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Be an authority in providing a healthy and safe work environment for employees working on the outbound team
  • Spearhead timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders while maintaining the highest possible warehouse on time shipment and low shipment defects
  • Optimize the perfect order fulfillment and provide operational insights to improve WMS effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are on target for the operation, such as warehouse misses, on time shipments, shipment defects, aged tasks, and production levels per hour, and cost per order line
  • Lead and supervise full warehouse personnel (9-11 team members) through a positive team dynamic while driving strategic planning and forecasting that can include process improvements, SOPs, and training.

Skills/Experience Required

  • 5+ years of management experience in fulfillment center/warehouse operations. Retail/E-Commerce experience a huge PLUS!
  • 4+ years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, and/or Order Fulfillment
  • 4+ years of validated experience of effectively leading large groups of hourly Employees
  • Must be proficient in Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Certification or experience in Lean Six Sigma and/or Green Belt certification is a huge PLUS!

Work Hours

Monday-Friday: 7-4pm

Saturday: 9am-4pm
