Job Summary

The warehouse production lead will oversee the safety, efficiency, and production for the site. The person in this role will oversee a group of 5 - 10 employees for a busy manufacturing and assembly facility.

Responsibilities

• 
  Execute production schedule and determine priorities as needed

• Enforce company policies and safety regulations

• Ensure that employees receive appropriate training i.e.; compliance, safety or technical training as needed

• May enter safety related information into company compliance software

• Packaging production documents for processing

• Maintain accurate attendance information and authorize work schedules for payroll purposes

• Identify and address safety issues in a timely manner

• Lead shift meetings, communicate information to employees, and provide coaching counseling

• May communicate with other departments to share information

• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

Requirements

• 
  At least 2 years supervisory experience is preferred

• Working experience with word processing and spreadsheets is preferred

• Ability to read and write reports, general communications

• Ability to figure and calculate amounts, such as percentages and volumes

• Ability to read shop blueprints

Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands

• 
  This job involves the following physical demands: walking, standing, climbing, bending, stretching, using hands and fingers to hold, grasp, push, and lift items

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

• Environmental conditions involve warehouse temperatures of 30 degrees fahrenheit and up

• Job responsibilities involve occasional exposure to oil and grease

• Lean manufacturing experience

• ERP experience

• Leading any 5S events

• Driving to and understanding Key Production KPI’s

Compensation

• 
  The hourly pay rate is $27- $30/hr
