Job description

The role as Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators is responsible to manage a system of machines, often through the use of control boards, to transfer or treat water or wastewater.

You will play an important role, such as:

• Maintain the Waste-Water plant systems and operate the filtering of wastewater treatment processes
• Plan, schedule and executive preventive maintenance
• Prepare work orders for servicing
• Inspect plant systems daily to ensure effective operations
• Ensure the safety aspects of plant and daily operations are met
• Ensure all designated equipment calibrations and inspections are up to date
• Initiate spare parts planning and second sourcing of quotation
• Develop and maintain documentation such as Standard Operation Procedure, risk assessment etc

To be successful in this role, you will need;

• Minimum SPM level/SKM/Diploma
• Minimum 2 Years working experiences in the Manufacturing & Plant Industry
• Experience in wastewater treatment
• Able to communicate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Relevant working experiences in Cooling Water system, Demin Water Plant, Nitrogen Plant, Air Compressors Unit, and Waste Water Treatment Plant is an added advantage
• Able to work under wastewater working environment and rotating shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to RM3,500.00 per month
