Job description

Responsibilities :

• Work with illustrators and designers to produce children publication materials such as story books, activity books, text books, etc.
• Whenever required, work with other writer(s) to develop contents.
• Whenever required, create and develop contents as per project requirements.
• To ensure projects are delivered within deadline and within certain standard of quality.
• Work with editors or designers from international publishing houses to facilitate the process of publishing Ana Muslim books in other languages.

Requirements :

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field. You don’t necessarily have to be a student of language or creative writing to take up this position. In fact, a lot of our team members do actually come from various fields of study.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Must be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia (written and oral). Proficiency in English is an added advantage.
• Have excellent communication skills, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with minimum supervision.
• Must have a positive attitude and be able to plan effectively and efficiently to achieve targets and goals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word.
• A basic knowledge or experience in using desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign is an advantage.
