Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Minimum diploma and preferably with Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
  • Required languages: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia;
  • Self-motivated with positive attitude;
  • Required skills: Microsoft Office, computerised accounting software, such as UBS/SQL or equivalents;
  • Knowledge required: MPERS/MFRS, Companies Act 2016 and SST 2018.
JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:
  • Filing and indexing of bills, invoices, receipts, vouchers and other source documents for recording purposes;
  • Perform recording of transactions using accounting software;
  • Prepare account in accordance with accounting standard and regulations;
  • To assist in preparing full sets of account and monthly management reports;
  • To assist the preparation of reconciliation statements and accounting schedules;
  • To assist the explanation of financial statements to users;
  • Assist on ad-hoc assignment in relation to account as requested by direct supervisor or manager;
  • Travel to client’s office or other location for accounting work;
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, tax agents, banks, insurance companies and partners;
  • Vacancy is open for Kuala Lumpur, Melaka and Sarawak.
MINIMUM INTERNAL ADMINISTRATIVE ROLE:
  • Responsible for maintenance of client records;
  • Preparation and follow up on quotation;
  • Ensure sales and collection are captured in accounting accurately and timely;
  • Credit control and collections;
  • Assisting the preparation of office administration work;
  • Assisting in drafting, proof reading and basic checking of documents and reports requested.
