Job description

We are looking for an Associate Project Manager who will help with the estimation and management of project budgets and timelines. This position requires excellent communication skills, as the Associate Project Manager is typically the first point of contact between clients and the project manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager in multiple projects, writing and editing reports, providing project status updates, assisting with preparing project changes and communicating with clients about project details.

· Correspondence

  • · Send Form Letters
  • · Email Correspondence

· Submittals/Closeout/Warranties

  • · Prep/Forward/Upload All Submittals & Shop Drawings
  • · Verify with vendor any Questions needed in order to release Product (Turn in with Submittals)
  • · Notify 3rd Tier Subs of their required Submittals & Shop Drawings and Specify Due Dates
  • · Update Submittal Log in Master Job File

· Purchase Orders

  • · Take-off Lighting and Gear
  • · Write Scope and Fill-out Attachments
  • · Please see Example Binder for Different Vendors
  • · Forward to the Project Manager for Approval

Take Offs

  • · Devices
  • · Home Runs
  • · Review Plan Notes and Specification
  • · ETC.

· Change Order

  • · Take Off Area
  • · Enter Estimate on Change Order Form
  • · Forward to Project Manager for Approval
  • · Revise if Needed
  • · Notify PM that CO proposal is complete – PM will forward to General Contractor

· RFI’s

  • · Assign RFI Number
  • · Generate RFI and Forward to PM for review
  • · Once Reviewed, Issue to GC
  • · Add to RFI log in Master Job File
  • · Follow-Up with GC for Response
  • · Post RFI Response on Procore

· Document Control

· Procore

  • Update Procore with APPROVED drawings ONLY
  • Put Specs, Approved Submittals and RFI’s in Pro Core
  • Add, ASI, CCD to Pro Core as they get APPROVED

· Organization

  • Upload all Information into “F” Drive into correct folders
  • Keep up to date information in Master Job File

Schedule:

Office Hours: 6:30AM – 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday and 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM on Friday

Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
