We currently have an opening for an Senior Automation & Controls Professional to join our Digital Water team. The position is based in our Orlando, FL location. This position supports Tetra Tech’s municipal and industrial water and wastewater market. The selected candidate shall experience a unique opportunity to be involved with SCADA projects located in various areas of the country working with a team of in-house experts in all disciplines.
Your Role:
- Plan and lead the development of SCADA HMI or DCS applications in various platforms such as Aveva Wonderware (InTouch), Allen Bradley (View32/FTView SE/ME), and GE iFix for stationary and mobile platforms.
- Plan and lead the development of SCADA PLC applications in various platforms such as Allen Bradley (RSLogix 5/500/5000, Studio 5000), Schneider Electric Modicon (Unity Pro/EcoStruxure Control Expert)
- Manage on site start-up and commissioning support
- Maintaining and growing solid client relationships (internal and external)
- Manage SCADA related projects including development of scope and budget documents
- Mentor junior staff
- Plan and administer Owner training sessions for proper operations and maintenance
- Assists in development of company programming standards and templates
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an ABET/EAC accredited bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in engineering consulting with the focus on Water and Wastewater Control Systems/SCADA integration projects
- Aveva Wonderware System Platform certification, a plus
- Demonstrated experience working with municipal clients
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets
