Full Time Power BI Report Developer- 4180 Western Blvd Jacksonville, NC 28546

We are looking for a team member who can design and build effective and scalable Business Intelligence solutions including Operational Reports, Data Visualizations, Dashboards, and ETL/Data Integration solutions using Microsoft Power BI.

Position duties, requirements, and expectations:

• Use Power BI, Excel, SQL and other programs for modeling, analysis, and reporting.
• Explore and extract data from various data sources and connect, import, and transform data.
• Engage with business users using a consultative approach, asking questions to understand the business needs and deriving the data flow in order to develop logical and physical data models based on those needs.
• Model data and build measures to support user-defined metrics and KPIs
• Ensure data from reports are visually appealing, presented in a user-friendly format and made accessible to staff, consumers and community members.
• Provide end-user training and technical assistance to maximize utilization of Power BI reports and solutions.
• Coordinate with business users to analyze data and identify trends, outliers, and opportunities to drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
• Knowledge of writing SQL queries using SQL Server Management Studio to conduct exploratory data analysis for subsequent data modeling using Power BI
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data gateways, Power Apps & Power Automate is a plus
• Experience translating business user requirements into solutions
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrates an ability to work as a team, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide recommended courses of action to business leaders.
• Preferred experience in the Financial Industry (Credit Union)
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Supply Chain, Computer Science) or equivalent certification in any of those fields

This position will be required to work onsite at our Corporate HQ location while learning the organization. A hybrid working arrangement may be available after the learning period has been satisfied. This is not a 100% remote position.
