Job Description:

The Intermediate Applications Developer provides input and support for full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). Performs tasks within planned durations and established deadlines. This position collaborates with teams to ensure effective communication in supporting the achievement of objectives. Provides knowledge, development, maintenance, and support for applications.

The Intermediate Applications Developer will work closely with Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering to design, develop and support Airline applications. This position requires technical and soft skills for meeting responsibility for integrating vendor(s) and UPS built products with legacy applications.

The Intermediate Applications Developer provides input and support for full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). Provides knowledge, development, maintenance, and support for applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with Java Programming, Springboot Framework
  • Knowledge of Documentation skills, Technical Analysis and Troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with Agile Development, Angular framework, SQL Server Database, Open Shift/cloud -computing, Jenkins/dev-ops
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or the equivalent in education and work experience
