Job description

Under general direction, this position is responsible for all aspects of the physical production of signs. Sign assembly includes preparing substrates and using printing and vinyl-cutting machines and techniques to construct products according to written instructions.

1. Ability to learn and follow instructions from supervisors
2. Help unload and store raw materials; clean and maintain storage areas.
3. Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Serve as backup for graphic designers as necessary.
5. Willingness to learn or expand knowledge of printing and fabrication
6. Assist in off-site installation

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
• Ability to work under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work.
• Ability to use light-duty equipment.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENCE
• Ability to commute to office location Ozone Park NY and off-site location NYU for training.
• A general understanding of signage is a plus
• Preferred prior experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $800.00 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
