Our client is one of the growing company and is one of the biggest player in their industry.
Job Description
Preparation of consolidated accounts and ensuring the accounts are prepared accurately and timely for reporting to the top management and stakeholders

Preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS and MFRS.

Review inter company balances, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.

Review all subsidiaries management reports, manage the monthly variance analysis and providing commentary on the financial performance

Required to engage with departments and subsidiaries within the group and provide guidance on finance and accounting matters.

Enhances existing consolidation and reporting related processes.

Standardization of chart of accounts; reporting format across the Group.

Ensure submission of Group budget and forecast in accordance with the timeline.

Liaisons with auditors and relevant parties for statutory and legislative requirements.

In charge of annual audit exercise for the Group and responsible for the preparation of audited Group financial statements

Fast, flexible and effective solutions to ad hoc business needs.

To lead or participate in ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by Management from time to time
The Successful Applicant
Must possess at least a Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Banking or any Professional Certificate ie. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA & etc.

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.

Minimum 5 years of working experiences with minimum 4 years in managing group finance, external audit and with existing commercial experience in multinational company or public listed company.

Strong knowledge of consolidation.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, especially IFRS and tax related issues

Knowledge and prior exposure to international entities, foreign currencies and inter-company transactions

Extensive experience in handling full set accounts.

Strong ability to work independently under tight deadlines and good organization skill

Meticulous with good attention to details, efficient, strong analytical skills

Highly organized and structured.

Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages

Good Interpersonal and Communication skills.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Pro-active and challenge the status quo and can-do attitude.

Adaptable to change in a dynamic environment with initiative to improve reporting, policies and processes.

Experience/knowledge in using JDE system would be an added advantage
