The Business Analyst is responsible for creating reports to assist the Customer Service team in improving efficiency, finding opportunities, and capturing accurate status of all stages of the order management process. The Business Analyst will provide critical insights relative to all facets of backlog management to enable the team to achieve defined strategic and financial goals. The Business Analyst will play a key support role for the Customer Service Leadership Team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build, analyze, evaluate, and interpret sales data via advanced BI reporting dashboards to increase order processing and fulfillment productivity.
• Provide direction regarding operational patterns, trends, and future insights to drive business decisions.
• Continually work with CS Team to ensure they understand BI Reporting so that they can better use them in their day-to-day business.
• Solicit feedback from consumers of BI reporting with the goal of creating more impactful reports.
• Execute vital logic changes in existing databases and build new databases and queries to support updated processes.
• Build, Modify and Schedule reporting in relevant systems.
• Generate ad hoc reporting for others as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with other key stakeholders across multiple departments and/or functions.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience as an analyst or similar position preferred.
• Familiarity with sales reporting
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Detail oriented with strength in high-level data analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Particularly in Access and Excel)
• Familiarity with Advanced BI tools (such as Power BI or Tableau)
• Understanding Demand Planning and/or Supply Chain processes a plus
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Solid group presentation skills and ability to convey complex information to a broad audience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Enjoys working independently as well as within a team environment.
• Ability to coordinate and handle simultaneous data analysis, reporting and other competing requests.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and relational database management system.
• Excellent PC skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ERP system.
• Knowledge of Oracle or equivalent ERP package.
• Flexible with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong, interpersonal, and collaborative skills with a track record of cross functional success.
• Able to communicate and establish trust and credibility with all departments, senior management, corporate counterparts, customers, carriers, and suppliers as necessary.
• Strong decision making and independent execution skills.
• Organized with strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize and get things done.
