About us

The Dark Woods is a haunted Halloween event located in Milford, NH, and we are looking for a creative and hard working individual to join our growing team. Our attraction consistently provides quality entertainment that is unique, interactive, and safe to our guests and their families.

We are looking for a helping hand to join our team and assist with a variety of outdoor tasks this Spring/Summer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general labor duties such as demolition, hauling, lifting, loading/unloading materials, operating machinery, and assisting with the design and build of outdoor theatrical sets. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Also, not being a pain or annoying in anyway is also a huge plus.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear (i.e. don't do dumb).
• Use the brain supplied to them at birth (if candidate doesn't have a brain, they need to rent one).
• Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds (similar to the weight of an entire load of wet laundry).
• Perform manual labor tasks such as cleanup, digging, shoveling, pruning, and raking. (Learning the use of such procedures can be found on YouTube, next to the videos on how to do laundry).
• Operate power tools such as saws, drills and a hammer.
• Clean up work areas and dispose of debris properly (and without falling in).
• Work in a variety of weather conditions excluding tornados, hurricanes, and mudslides.
• Some knowledge of building and general carpentry skills a plus!
• Sense of humor required.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
