The role job exists to provide technical and engineering hands-on in plant equipment and machinery repair works, monitor and allocate contractors’ work, monitor and record statutory inspection, supervise and handling of maintenance activities.
The responsibility will range from assessing and maintain works and product quality, minimum errors and waste management, lead visible health and safety practices. This position will be based in Klang site.

Responsibilities:
Primary scope to deliver proper maintenance & engineering work for Overhead Crane, Air compressor system, Cooling water system, Boiler and Gas system
Develop and enhance Maintenance strategy , PM Work list and Spare part management for above mentioned system
Building Maintenance with managing contractor will be additional advantage.
Control on budgets, timescales, and specifications.
To maintain and modify equipment’s to ensure that it is safe, reliable, and efficient.
To use computer aided software to support and execute tasks.
Work with Company vendors and supervise subcontractors during various maintenance projects to ensure proper completion of work.
Deliver SOP for repetitive engineering task and technical documentation to standardize best practices across.
To lead CBM initiatives. (Basic knowledge of Vibration measurement, DPT and UT)
Able to troubleshoot Pneumatic and Hydraulic system / read Pneumatic and Hydraulic diagram.
Experience in AutoCAD drawing and modification of machine parts.
To lead CAPEX for projects from budgeting and monitoring of cost is within the planned budget.
Update equipment breakdown findings and propose permanent counter measure by conducting RCA analysis.
Lead a team of shift Technician’s in their daily role.
To support emergency repairs of equipment’s and to minimize downtime by preventive measures on reoccurrence.
To participate monthly Plant Maintenance and annual shutdown.
To be proactive in the application of safety, health & environment management system.
Qualification and/or experience required:
Minimum 5 Years experience managing and maintaining facilities critical equipment (Overhead Crane, Air compressor system, Cooling water system, Boiler and Gas system)
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineer with Mechanical engineering knowledge will be an added advantage.
Experience in maintenance of heavy industrial equipment – preferably continuous operation process equipment.
Job preparation and planning experience in above environment.
Organising and supervision of major maintenance works.
Experience in planning and organising of major equipment maintenance.
Must have safety management & contractor management experience as compulsory.
